Oakland-Craig shuts out Louisville

The Oakland-Craig Football Team blanked Louisville 54-0 at home Friday night in action aired on 107.9 the Bull.

Colton Thomsen was 11-14 passing for 207 yards with two touchdowns.

Wyatt Seagren hauled in 3 passes for 75 yards while Coulter Thiele had 4 catches for 61 yards and a touchdown. Caden Nelson made 3 receptions for 55 yards and also scored once.

Ian Lundquist had 13 carries for 84 yards, and scored three touchdowns.

The Knights had 452 yards of total offense, including 228 on the ground.

What an impressive game and performance from Oakland-Craig as the Knights scored on every offensive possession except the last one.

Oakland-Craig (6-0) plays host to Fremont Bergan (6-0) Friday night.

Bergan beat Yutan 20-7 at home last week.

I feel like Bergan has been good, but Oakland-Craig has been great.

This game being in Oakland and it being homecoming for Oakland-Craig as well tells me the advantage lies with O-C.

I look for Oakland-Craig to win although I feel the game will be decided by a couple of touchdowns or less.

These last three regular season games will tell the tale for Oakland-Craig.

The Knights have been great so far this year, but these next three games are arguably their toughest of the season.

We will find out just how good and great Oakland-Craig is in their next three games.

I think the Knights are legit and the real deal and will do very well, but we will see.

Can Oakland-Craig finish the regular season undefeated? Man it would be a huge and tremendous accomplishment if they did.

That game with BRLD in the regular season finale figures to be a dandy, but all Oakland-Craig should worry about right now is beating Fremont Bergan.

Bergan is a very good and respectable team, and beating them is never an easy or small task.

If Oakland-Craig keeps playing the way they have though then I don't see any reason why they won't win.

O-C has to keep playing great and amazing football like they have all season.

You honestly can't or couldn't be playing as good of football as Oakland-Craig has been all season.

O-C is doing great and extraordinary things and simply has to keep it up.

I look for this team to do well Friday night, and improve to 7-0 on the season.

I think a deep playoff run is likely for Oakland-Craig as well, but there's a lot of season and a lot of football left to be played, and as I mentioned, O-C should only be focused on and worried about beating Bergan right now.
