Emerson-Hubbard loses at Mead
The Emerson-Hubbard Football Team lost 20-6 at Mead Friday night.
The Raiders led 14-6 at the end of one and at halftime, and 20-6 at the end of the 3rd quarter.
The Pirates gave up 382 yards of total offense, including 311 rushing.
Really tough sledding for Emerson-Hubbard offensively.
The Pirates (1-4) host Omaha Christian Academy (0-5) Friday night.
The Eagles lost 80-0 at Clarkson/Leigh last week.
This is a game Emerson-Hubbard should not only win, but dominate.
The Pirates need to come out and smack Omaha Christian Academy in the mouth, and take it to the Eagles for four quarters.
This could very well be the final game Emerson-Hubbard ever wins as a program so the Pirates have to make it count.
Emerson-Hubbard has to be dominate on both sides of the ball, and win lopsided and big.
The Pirates can't allow the Eagles to keep things close or give them any hope whatsoever.
Emerson-Hubbard has to take the fight out of Omaha Christian Academy and damper their hopes and spirits.
The Pirates need to dominate from start to finish, and hammer the Eagles.
Emerson-Hubbard has to take the frustration of all the losses this season out on Omaha Christian Academy.
The Pirates have to put it all together for this game and show no mercy to the Eagles.
Emerson-Hubbard has to get jacked and fired up for this one, and play with lots of emotion, pride, toughness, tenacity, fire, grit, and passion.
The Pirates have to get ready to hit hard and smack Omaha Christian Academy in the mouth.
Emerson-Hubbard has to play with tons of firepower and intestinal fortitude.
The Pirates have to be the tougher team offensively and defensively, and must play an incredible game Friday night.
Emerson-Hubbard has to win this game....this is a must win for the Pirates.
Losing is simply not an option for Emerson-Hubbard in this game.
I look for the Pirates to win big, and go away happy campers.
Emerson-Hubbard has to play with a sense of urgency and purpose Friday night.
The offense has to be much better than it was last week.
