Clarkson/Leigh loses at Humphrey St. Francis

The Clarkson/Leigh Football Team lost 46-6 at Humphrey St. Francis Friday night.

Extremely tough game for the Patriots. I'm sure Clarkson/Leigh feels they could of and should of been more competitive.

Clarkson/Leigh (0-2) hosts Parkview Christian (1-1) Friday night.

Parkview Christian won 74-30 at home against Omaha Christian Academy two weeks ago.

This is a big one for Clarkson/Leigh, and I'm sure they would like to get in the win column.

I feel the rest of Clarkson/Leigh's games are winnable now that the two toughest games of the season are out of the way.

This is a big non-district game as Parkview Christian is a very respectable program.

I feel Clarkson/Leigh will hold their own in this one and make a game of things.

Parkview Christian is probably the fresher and healthier team though.

It wouldn't surprise me if Clarkson/Leigh is a little banged up and sore after playing two very tough teams to open up the season.

Clarkson/Leigh has to be ready to fly from the get go, and must come out and play with purpose and authority.

Clarkson/Leigh has to turn in their best performance of the year, and turn in a great game against Parkview Christian.

I think Clarkson/Leigh can definitely win this game, especially since they are at home.

Clarkson/Leigh has to play with a sense of urgency and toughness that is defined by them only.

Clarkson/Leigh has to get fired up and must be psyched and jacked as well.

Clarkson/Leigh has to hit hard, and must tackle well as well.

Making key and big blocks as well as hanging onto the football and creating turnovers is also key for Clarkson/Leigh, in my opinion.

Clarkson/Leigh has to bring the lunch pail to the field, and leave everything they have out on the field.

Clarkson/Leigh has a golden opportunity in front of them, and has to make the most of it and come away with a victory.

District play starts next week so this one is key for Clarkson/Leigh there's no doubt about it.
