West Point-Beemer outlasts DC West
The West Point-Beemer Football Team won 47-27 at home over DC West Friday night.
The Cadets gave up 359 yards of total offense, including 283 on the ground.
Great performance from the Cadets, who continue to play great Football.
West Point-Beemer (4-0) takes on Wahoo (3-1) on the road Friday night.
The Warriors won 60-0 at Platteview this past Friday night.
I feel the Cadets have a great chance to win this game.
Wahoo only beat Wayne 16-0, and I think this game with the Warriors is going to be a dandy.
West Point-Beemer has to play like they did for most of the Columbus Scotus game, and against Boys Town.
The Cadets have to come out ready to smash from the start.
West Point-Beemer needs to be mentally and physically prepared for this game.
You know the Warriors are going to hit and play hard, and so the Cadets must match Wahoo's hard play and physicality.
The Warriors won't want to fall to 3-2 on the year, but I'm sure West Point-Beemer would really love to be 5-0.
The Cadets can definitely go in there and come away with a win, but it won't be easy.
West Point-Beemer has to play hard, smart, and physical, and must get fired up and ready to go.
The Cadets should be loose, but serious.
There shouldn't be a lot of laughing or smiling on the sidelines while this game is going on. This is a serious game, and West Point-Beemer has to treat it as such.
Wahoo will no doubt be ready to play and so the Cadets have to be ready to go themselves.
West Point-Beemer has to get ready for 4 quarters of hard nosed, smashmouth, physical football.
This game isn't going to be won in the 1st half, it's going to be won in the 4th quarter.
The Cadets need to finish the game strong and shore up some things defensively.
Giving up points late could come back to haunt West Point-Beemer this time around so the Cadets have to be stout and prepared defensively.
West Point-Beemer has to give it their all for 4 quarters, play their hearts out, and do their best to win.
The Cadets have a chance to be undefeated heading into district play, and that would be quite the accomplishment.
