Tekamah-Herman drops home game to Twin River

The Tekamah-Herman Football Team lost 35-12 at home to Twin River Friday night.

The Titans led 12-0 at the end of the 1st quarter, and 20-0 at halftime after shutting out the Tigers 8-0 in the 2nd quarter.

Twin River won the 4th quarter 15-12 after neither team scored in the 3rd quarter.

Tekamah-Herman gave up 410 yards of total offense, including 231 on the ground.

A slow start definitely hurt the Tigers. I thought Tekamah-Herman would build on their first 2 games of the season, but I kind of think the Tigers took a step or two back Friday night.

Tekamah-Herman (0-3) hosts Conestoga (0-3) Friday night.

The Cougars lost 52-0 at home to David City this past Friday night.

Both teams are winless, and something has to give in this game.

I look for the Tigers to pick up their first win of the season Friday night.

Tekamah-Herman has to get off to a much stronger start than they did against Twin River though.

If the Tigers' offense plays like they did early on against the Titans then it could be another tough night for Tekamah-Herman.

I don't think things will be like that though. I feel the Tigers will come out and play a strong, complete game, and pick up their first win of the season.

Both offenses have really struggled this year so it could be a pretty low scoring game.

I think Tekamah-Herman has been better defensively than Conestoga, and that's where I give the Tigers an edge and the advantage.

Tekamah-Herman desperately needs this game as District play looms on the horizon starting next week.

The Tigers have a very tough district so Tekamah-Herman needs as much momentum as possible heading into district play.

The Tigers have to breakout, and turn in a strong performance Friday night.

There's no reason Tekamah-Herman shouldn't win.

I fully expect the Tigers to get the job done and come away with a W.

It might not be pretty at times, but I think Tekamah-Herman will do enough to beat Conestoga.

The Tigers are at home, and this figures to be Tekamah-Herman's best chance at a win this season.

The Tigers need this one just to feel good about themselves you could say.

Just tasting victory this season would be good for Tekamah-Herman.

The Tigers need this one just to feel good about themselves and to give themselves a little spark of confidence and a confidence boost.
