Fourth Quarter

The Eagles led 12-0 after the first quarter and doubled up the Jaguars 16-8 in the 2nd quarter to take a 28-8 lead into the locker room.
Howells-Dodge won the 3rd quarter 22-16 to make it a 44-30 game at the end of three.
LHNE shutout the Jaguars 8-0 in the 4th quarter.
Horejsi finished with 119 yards rushing on 27 carries, including a touchdown. Pokorny was 4-12 passing for 91 yards with a touchdown and an interception. Rocheford hauled in a single pass for 53 yards, and scored once.
Josh Brester made 18 tackles while Trevor Schumacher totaled 16. Pokorny added 13 while Levi Belina recorded 12. Lane Hegemann made 9 tackles while Rocheford registered 8.
Howells-Dodge had 255 yards of offense, 164 coming on the ground.
It appears the Jaguars were without Kade Hegemann. Definitely impacted the outcome of the game, in my opinion.
Howells-Dodge (2-2) hosts Neligh-Oakdale (2-2) Friday night.
The Warriors won 60-28 at home over Laurel-Concord-Coleridge Friday night.
Neligh-Oakdale is playing better football than they were at the beginning of the season, and appears to be a team and force to be reckoned with.
If Kade Hegemann is out again then this one could get very interesting.
I don't think this game is a sure win for the Jaguars by any means.
Howells-Dodge has to get Horejsi going in the run game, and Pokorny needs to be effective throwing the ball.
The biggest thing for the Jaguars though is their defense.
You can tell Howells-Dodge really missed Kade Hegemann, giving up 52 points the way they did.
The Jaguars are a good defensive team, but they were shredded apart last week.
Howells-Dodge has to step up and be physical and stop the run.
The Jaguars can't let the Warriors come in and run all over them.
Howells-Dodge has to have a good game plan, and be ready to go from the get go.
The Jaguars have to be physical at the point of attack, and must play and hit hard.
This is a huge game for Howells-Dodge, the Jaguars don't want to fall to 0-2 in District Play.
The Jaguars need the same type of production they got defensively against the Eagles from the standpoint of tackles.
The number of players racking up a good number of tackles in the Lutheran High Northeast game shows me players were flying to the football despite the number of points the Eagles put up on the scoreboard.
Howells-Dodge has to forget about what happened last week, and go out there and play a great game against Neligh-Oakdale.
The Jaguars should honestly be upset about losing to LHNE, and want to take their frustrations out on the Warriors.
Howells-Dodge can definitely win this with or without Kade Hegemann, they just have to go out there and make it happen.
