West Point-Beemer hangs on for big win at Columbus Scotus
The West Point-Beemer Football Team won 35-28 at Columbus Scotus Friday night.
The Cadets jumped out to a 14-0 lead at the end of one, and doubled up the Shamrocks in the 2nd quarter 14-7, which included a hail mary touchdown to end the half, to take a 28-7 lead into the locker room.
West Point-Beemer shutout Scotus 7-0 in the 3rd quarter to lead 35-7 at the end of three.
The Shamrocks tried to rally in the 4th quarter, blanking the Cadets 21-0.
Big win for West Point-Beemer. The Cadets almost let things get away, but hung on and won, and that's what matters.
West Point-Beemer (3-0) hosts DC West (2-1) Friday night.
The Falcons won 42-6 at Schuyler this past Friday night.
DC West is a nice team, but I look for the Cadets to win this one.
I feel West Point-Beemer has played tougher teams to this point, and has done more.
I think the Cadets might be able to blowout the Falcons.
DC West started slow against the Warriors, and if West Point-Beemer can jump on the Falcons early, it might be game over.
Regardless of how fast the Cadets start I look for them to win.
I think it's going to be a good and successful night of Football for West Point-Beemer.
The Cadets have a very tough game at Wahoo next week, but DC West should be the only team West Point-Beemer is worried about right now.
The Cadets can't get caught looking ahead to next week.
West Point-Beemer has to take care of business Friday night, and notch their 4th win of the season.
The biggest and toughest games of the season lie ahead for the Cadets so West Point-Beemer has to keep fine tuning their game and craft in order to beat teams like Wahoo and Pierce.
Anyone is beatable on any given night, and so the Cadets must have that in mind when they take to the field Friday night.
West Point-Beemer has to go out there and let it rip, and never look back.
The Cadets have to play physical, smashmouth, fast, and in your face Football for 4 quarters.
West Point-Beemer can't let up at any point in the game, and must play the way they have in each of the first 3 games of the season.
The Cadets are legit once again this season, and have to continue to go out there and prove themselves as this program nicely evolves.
I think West Point-Beemer's best football is ahead of them, and I look for the Cadets to put on a show Friday night.
