BRLD rolls Yutan

The BRLD Football Team routed Yutan 36-6 at home Friday night.

Will Gatzemeyer was 15-23 passing for 279 yards with two touchdowns and an interception. Lucas Vogt hauled in 6 passes for 160 yards and two scores. Jaxon Johnson made 4 catches and gained 129 yards.

Seth Totten made 7 tackles.

The Wolverines amassed 450 yards of total offense, including 324 on the ground.

Very impressive win for and impressive performance by BRLD. The Wolverines' passing game was really on target.

BRLD (4-1) hosts Tekamah-Herman (1-4) in High School Football Action on 107.9 the Bull Friday night.

The Tigers lost 48-0 at Oakland-Craig last week.

The Wolverines should roll in this one.

I would say Yutan has shown more than the Tigers have at this point.

Tekamah-Herman has really struggled offensively this season, and the Knights had a lot of success against the Tigers' defense.

I look for BRLD to have their way in this one, and roll to a big win.

Tekamah-Herman is definitely capable of putting up a fight, but the Wolverines just have some great athletes.

The Tigers had just 56 yards of total offense last week, and I think BRLD's defense is similar to that of Oakland-Craig.

I think we'll see just how well the Wolverines stack up against the Knights by their performance this week.

I feel the score of this game will give us an idea of how many points separate Oakland-Craig and BRLD.

The Wolverines need the same type of effort they got last week, and Gatzemeyer has to be lights out once again.

BRLD was very impressive last week, and has to play well again this week.

The Wolverines can't piddle around with or take Tekamah-Herman lightly though.

BRLD has to come out and play their game, and their physical brand of Football.

The Wolverines ought to look to attack the Tigers from multiple angles, whether that's up the gut or up the seam or down the sidelines.

I think BRLD should look to spread the whole field, and use their speed, power, and athleticism to their advantage.

Friday night's game will kickoff at 7:00 p.m. on the Bull, and pregame will begin at 6:30.
