Oakland-Craig shuts out Tekamah-Herman

The Oakland-Craig Football Team shutout Tekamah-Herman 48-0 at home Friday night.

The Knights led 18-0 at the end of the 1st quarter before shutting out the Tigers 15-0 in the 2nd quarter to take a 33-0 lead into the locker room. Oakland-Craig posted the final 15 points of the game in the 3rd quarter to make up the final score.

Jared Mulder was 12-18 passing for 177 yards while Jefferson McNeill hauled in 8 passes for 88 yards and rushed for 64 yards on 2 carries, and scored a touchdown.

The Knights rolled up 437 yards of offense, including 260 on the ground.

The defense only gave up 56 total yards, including just 16 rushing.

Very dominant performance from Oakland-Craig against their rivals. You couldn't of asked for a better result if you're the Knights.

Oakland-Craig (5-0) makes the long trek Southeast to take on Louisville (1-4) Friday night.

The Lions lost 63-7 at Fremont Bergan this past Friday night.

The Knights should have no trouble beating Louisville.

Oakland-Craig will have some good film to watch from the Bergan game.

Oakland-Craig will also be giving Bergan some good film to watch prior to next week's showdown in Fremont, but bring it on I suppose.

Oakland-Craig has to be focused on Louisville, and Louisville only right now though.

The Lions should be ingrained in these players' minds.

Bergan can wait, and the last thing Oakland-Craig can afford to do is get caught looking ahead.

I don't think that will be the case at all though.

I feel Oakland-Craig will be prepared and ready like they always are, and will take care of business.

Long road trip, but I have a feeling it will be a very jolly ride home for the Knights.

The real business begins after this week so Oakland-Craig has to enjoy what should be a big win from a score standpoint for another week.

The Bergan and BRLD games figure to be close, and Oakland-Craig will no doubt want to paste Yutan after what happened last year in the playoffs.

Oakland-Craig has to come out and be physical, and play smashmouth Northeast Nebraska Football.

The Knights have to run the ball effectively like they did against the Tigers, and must pass the ball well once again to create offensive balance.

I look for Oakland-Craig to play and put together a great game, and rout Louisville.

It's a long road trip and a long ride home, but the Knights have gone further before.

I fully expect Oakland-Craig to go down there and handle their business.

I look for the Knights to win big once again just like they did last week.

I don't see the Lions slowing Oakland-Craig down at all, not at the rate the Knights are playing at right now.
