Bayer recorded 9 tackles while Kade Hegemann made 8.

Howells-Dodge racked up 251 yards of offense, including 178 rushing.

It was another tough week for the Jaguars. Howells-Dodge played well offensively in the second quarter, but the Bulldogs simply proved to be too much to handle.

The Jaguars (2-4) host Fullerton (3-3) Friday night.

The Warriors lost 20-18 at home to Nebraska Christian last time out.

Fullerton is a decent team, but if Howells-Dodge can get things together for the last two games of the regular season, I think they can beat the Warriors.

Things just for whatever reason have not gone the Jaguars' way as of late.

Howells-Dodge had a promising start to the season, but has really struggled over the last month.

Injuries have taken their toll on this team, but the Jaguars just aren't having the type of season they're accustomed to.

There's still a chance to make the playoffs, but Howells-Dodge has to play well from here on out.

The Jaguars have lost to four teams 5-1 or better the last month so Howells-Dodge certainly has a better chance of beating Fullerton than they did those teams.

It's crunch time for the Jaguars. It's time for Howells-Dodge to step up and make the playoffs.

The Jaguars have to expect to win their last two regular season games.
