Winnebago beats Omaha Nation

The Winnebago Indians picked up a 48-14 home win over Omaha Nation Friday night.

This was a nice win for Winnebago, who probably played their best game of the year so far.

The Indians (2-4) take on Guardian Angels Central Catholic (6-0) on the road Friday night.

The Bluejays defeated Pender 68-18 on the road last time out.

GACC is the real deal, and I think Winnebago could very well find that out Friday night.

I think the Indians are capable of making this game closer than some might think, but it is going to be tough sledding for Winnebago, there's no doubt about it.

The Indians have to be optimistic about their chances though. Winnebago has to expect to win, and has to come ready to play.

The Indians have to find a way to slow down Tanner Hass. He has been a man among boys this year, and if Winnebago lets him run wild on them, they are in trouble.

The Indians have to be physical at the line of scrimmage, and must run the ball with authority.

Winnebago has to come ready to play for four quarters Friday night. The Indians will be fighting for their playoff lives, and their play must reflect that.

Winnebago has to go out there and have fun. The game of football is supposed to be fun, and the Indians have to enjoy the game.
