Logan View ends year with win over Tekamah-Herman
The Logan View Raiders ended their season with a resounding, 60-6 home win over Tekamah-Herman Friday night.
I'm sure Logan View wishes they could have made the playoffs, but not many teams go out winners, and that's exactly what the Raiders did by beating the Tigers Friday night.
Logan View ends the season 4-5.
The Raiders went through a four-game losing streak midseason, and had the first two games of that losing streak gone their way, Logan View very well could have been playoff bound. As it stands though the Raiders lost, and that's just how things go sometimes.
Logan View had a strong start to the season as they went 3-1 to begin the year, and the Raiders finished strong as well.
Logan View loses a number of seniors in Nathan Rock, Hunter Schlueter, Conner Gralheer, Garrett Knoell, Colin Vonseggern, James Hernandez, Nick Epperson, Zac Wanamaker, and Zach Heinke.
These 9 seniors will no doubt be missed, especially Knoell.
Replacing him will be very difficult, and I suspect there will be a quarterback competition next fall.
The Raiders bring back Andrew Poppe, Jacob Polk, Grant Meyer, Nolan Miller, Bailey Licht, Eric French, Brandon Hagerbaumer, Micheal Luther, and others.
There is quite a bit of talent returning for Logan View, and I think the Raiders have a chance to be good again next season.
This season was a success in many ways, and I'm sure the returning players will be hungry for more next season.
This season kind of feels like there is some unfinished business left for Logan View next season. I look for this team to have a chip on their shoulder throughout the offseason and into next year.
