Tekamah-Herman drops home game to Omaha Brownell-Talbot

The Tekamah-Herman Tigers incurred another tough loss Friday night, losing 48-12 at home to Omaha Brownell-Talbot.

Tekamah-Herman competed better against the Raiders than some other teams they've played this season, but it was still a struggle for the Tigers.

Tekamah-Herman (0-8) is at Logan View (3-5) Friday night.

The Raiders lost 63-7 at David City Aquinas last time out, and have sort of played uninspired football these last two weeks, at least in my opinion.

It's the final game of the regular season, and the Tigers have to go out there and make it happen, and let it rip.

These underclassmen who have been playing due to injuries have now had a full season to gain experience and improve.

Tekamah-Herman should be to the point where they're ready to go out there and make it happen in the final game of the regular season.

Anything can happen with it being the last game of the year, and if the Tigers put things together and Logan View plays uninspired football again, Tekamah-Herman might be able to make things close and possibly win.

I definitely feel this game has the potential to be one of the Tigers' closer games of the season.

I'm not necessarily suggesting a win for Tekamah-Herman, but the Tigers are certainly capable of doing something and making things interesting.

It has been a long, tough season for Tekamah-Herman, but if something positive could happen Friday night, if something could go their way for once, it might be something to take away heading into next season.
