Logan View loses to David City Aquinas
The Logan View Raiders suffered a tough defeat at David City Aquinas Friday night, losing 63-7.
The Monarchs outscored Logan View 28-0 in each the first and second quarters to lead 56-0 at halftime.
The Raiders scored their lone touchdown in the third quarter to make it a 56-7 game at the end of three.
David City Aquinas put up another touchdown in the fourth quarter to make up the final score.
Logan View definitely laid an egg in this game. The Monarchs are a very good team, but I think the Raiders are a better team than to be losing 56-0 at halftime.
Logan View (3-5) finishes out the season Friday night with a home game against Tekamah-Herman (0-8).
The Tigers lost 48-12 at home to Omaha Brownell-Talbot last time out, and have really struggled this season due to the number of injuries they've had.
This should be a win for Logan View, but the Raiders have to come out and play much better than they have the last two weeks.
Logan View has to care about this game, and be ready to fight from the get go. This is the last game of organized football most if not all of these seniors will ever play in their lives.
This is it. One more time to dawn the colors of Logan View.
After Friday night it's all over for these seniors.
The Raiders need to build a big lead early and continue to increase it.
Logan View needs to work in as many players as they can and get repetitions for the seniors who don't play a lot and the underclassmen.
The Raiders have to come together as one, and put things together for one memorable game Friday night.
