Tekamah-Herman loses regular season finale to Logan View

The Tekamah-Herman Tigers lost 60-6 at Logan View Friday night as their season came to a close.

It was an extremely difficult season for Tekamah-Herman, who got stung by the injury bug like none other.

The Tigers end the year 0-9.

Tekamah-Herman parts ways with Gus Langley, Bryan Peterson, Carter Walford, Brett Fleischman, Nick Bohannon, Matt Gross, Kolton Fleischman, and Caleb Wissman.

I'm not sure how much these eight seniors actually played this year, but either way they will be missed I am sure.

There's not a lot of positive things to take away from an 0-9 season, but Tekamah-Herman's younger players gained a lot of valuable varsity experience that will only benefit this team in the future.

It will be interesting to see how many of the same players actually start next years as I'm sure a good number of players will return from injury.

I think this team will be hungry and motivated to have a much better season next year than they did this year.

As long as they stay injury free, I think you will see the Tigers have a much better season in 2016 than they did in 2015.

It's hard saying how Tekamah-Herman will fare in 2016, but we will wait until next season to try and figure that out.

There's a long time between now and August, and the returning players and newcomers have a lot of time to reflect on the struggles of this season and do something about it.

Hard work in the weight room and on the playing field in the offseason will be critical to this team's success in 2016.
